Biography
Zhiyu Xu (He/Him) graduated with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Manchester in June 2022. He then moved to Imperial College London and received a Master's Degree of Nanomaterials with Distinction in September 2023. He joined the University of Oxford in Oct 2023 as a graduate student in the Department of Engineering Science studying for a D.Phil in the Soft Matter Photonics group where he is supervised by Prof. Steve Morris and Prof. Steve Elston. Zhiyu is working on new liquid crystal technologies for AR/VR/XR displays and is also a graduate member of Wolfson College.
