Biography
Josh is a South African junior doctor with a MPH in epidemiology and biostatistics. He is interested in the development of medical AI tools that are guided by clinical need and utility. Josh has experience in modelling HIV risk using traditional statistics and machine learning based approaches and is passionate about the use of multimodal data fusion in deep learning to better capture complex medical risk. Josh is pursuing a DPhil at Jesus College and is funded by a Rhodes Scholarship.
