4YP Poster Exhibition for the 45th Maurice Lubbock Memorial Lecture

Two final year Engineering Science Students working in the Dynamics, Vibration and Uncertainty lab have received prizes for their final year research posters during the 45th Maurice Lubbock Memorial Lecture at the Oxford Engineering Science Department.

Congratulations to Andreea-Maria Oncescu (Balliol) for winning the Oxford Engineering Alumni runner up prize (that is the second best poster overall), and Jonathan Collins (Worcester) for winning the BP Comprehensive prize and also the Outreach prize for Engineering Communication voted by Sixth Form students visiting the department! Andreea’s poster was on "Failure detection of low-cost wearable devices using recorded data and reports" Jonathan’s poster was on “Derivation of Seismic Fragility Curves for Typical Nepalese Houses".
