Pipejacking and Trenchless Technology

A significant amount of research on pipejacking and trenchless technology has been carried out over the past three decades. Early work was co-ordinated by Dr George Milligan followed by Professors Guy Houlsby and Harvey Burd. This research at Oxford University is now run by Dr Brian Sheil. In collaboration with Ward and Burke Construction Ltd, the current phase of research involves laboratory testing and real-time field monitoring to improve site practice and feedback into design method developments.
