Biography

Graham Klyne graduated in Mathematical Studies (Applied Maths) from the University of Bath, then worked as a commercial software developer for process control, motion capture, mechanical design, networking and other applications for over 25 years. He also authored or contributed to Internet standards (IETF) for Internet fax, content negotiation, email, URIs, and Web standards (W3C) for RDF, and provenance.

In Oxford, Graham has supported work on linked data for research in bioinformatics, classical art, scientific workflows, digital music, historical places and generally in research data management. He is currently creating a "Linked Data Notebook" software system (http://annalist.net) to make it easier for non-programmers to create and experiment with web linked data.
