International Women in Engineering Day for Schools

As part of our celebration of International Women in Engineering Day 2019, we are inviting female sixth form students to join us in Oxford to learn about engineering as a career option. It takes place here at the Department of Engineering Science on 19 June.

On the day, you’ll have the opportunity to:
• Find out about career possibilities which might suit you at the People Like Me Workshop
• Take part in an engineering workshop given by one of our own female engineers
• Take a tour of Keble College and get an idea of what it’s like to live and study at the University of Oxford

The students will then be invited to share High Tea with our female engineers, before joining them in listening to our keynote speakers: Dr Jessica Wade and Professor Anne Trefethen.

Apply for your place on the event here. Please note that this event is highly popular and has only limited spaces available. Completing an application does not guarantee you a space. Successful applicants will be notified via email after applications close date on Monday 3rd June 2019. Priority will be given to students from state school backgrounds.
