We are seeking a full-time (two part-time posts would be considered) Project Manager to join the Energy and Power Research Group at the Department of Engineering Science (central Oxford and Begbroke Science Park). The post is funded by research grants and is fixed-term to 31 October 2017 with the potential for a further extension.

Your prime responsibility is to ensure the efficient management of a project portfolio under the direction of the Principal Investigator(s) (PI). We are looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team at the Department of Engineering Science in (central Oxford). The role will ideally suit someone with an electrical or mechanical background. This post is full time and permanent.

You will be responsible for the supervision and the work of the Building and Facilities Maintenance Team. This team includes Building Technicians as well as specialist technicians such as a carpenter, electricians and an apprentice. You will oversee planned preventative and reactive maintenance as well as the quality and safety of all work. Engine Test Technician116436

We are seeking a full-time Engine Test Technician to support single-cylinder diesel engine testing activities within the new University of Oxford Advanced Compression Ignition Engine Centre of Excellence (ACIE-COE) in central Oxford. The post is funded by Jaguar Land Rover and is fixed-term to 31 March 2017 with possibility for extension.
You be will responsible for operating, maintaining and troubleshooting the ACIE-COE single-cylinder diesel test facility which includes a single cylinder diesel research engine, emission analysers, and all engine and test cell instrumentation. You will be responsible for pre-test engine preparation and the collection of test data. You will also provide technical support to research student activities within the Centre.
