OTE2019 builds on six successful workshops to provide opportunities for scientists, engineers, and researchers to discuss technical issues in tidal stream power generation. Since the first workshop in 2012 the workshop series has attracted over five hundred delegates, received over a hundred oral presentations and enjoyed dozens of posters. The workshop welcomes all delegates, and in particular doctoral students and early career researchers whom we would like to encourage to join us to discuss their research in a friendly yet intellectually challenging environment.
