High Temperature superconductor (HTS) Materials
The surface resistance of superconductors defines their behaviour at Rf frequencies. This has it's origins in the skin depth combined with the unique properties of superconducting materials. We have characterised the Thallium based materials Tl2Ba2CaCu2O10
over the full range of possible temperatures.
- TlBaCaCuO Thin Films (TBCCO 2212 and 2223)
- Large area deposition (greater than 50mm diameter)
- Surface Resistance values (Rs) less than 500uOhm
- Microwave compatible substrates (MgO, LaAlO3, Sapphire)
