Mr Stefano Domenicali
Stefano Domenicali is Team Principal of Scuderia Ferrari, Ferrari’s Formula 1 racing team.
After graduating from Bologna University, where he studied Business Administration, Stefano Domenicali joined Ferrari in 1991.
In 2002 Stefano Domenicali was honoured as “Ufficiale Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana” (The Order of Merit of the Italian Republic). This is the highest honour of the Italian Republic, and was awarded for his remarkable professional career.
BBC’s “Top Gear” magazine named Stefano Domenicali as “The Man of the Year 2012” for his achievements with Ferrari in F1, after a very competitive championship season.
In 1992 Stefano Domenicali was appointed as Race Director at the Mugello International Circuit, involved in MotoGP, DTM and other racing series. Since then he has held the post of Head of Human Resources for Ferrari Gestione Sportiva and was involved with sponsorship liaisons, before being promoted to Team Manager and Sporting Director of the Scuderia.
In 2007 Ferrari announced that Stefano Domenicali would take on the role of Director of the Ferrari Formula 1 team, a position previously held by Mr Jean Todt.
