Visits and Open Days

The University's departments and colleges co-operate to organise Open Days at the end of the summer term and in some cases also in September. Many schools are on the mailing list for these Open Days, and others will be added on application to the University Admissions Office. Open Days at the Department of Engineering Science enable visitors to learn more about the Engineering courses at Oxford and provide the opportunity to see laboratories and research displays. A number of Engineering students, currently on courses or recent graduates, will be available to talk to visitors. In addition college tutors can be consulted. In 2012 Open Days will be held on:

The Department will be open from 10am to 4pm on each day. Advance booking is not required for the Engineering Science Open Days - visitors register on arrival in the Department, at which time a detailed programme will be available.  The Registration Desk will be located on level 1 of the Thom Building.
