International recognition for Professor Alison Noble

Congratulations to Professor Alison Noble FREng, Technikos Professor of Biomedical Engineering in the Department of Engineering Science, who has been elected a Fellow of the Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Interventions Society (MICCAI)

The international distinction, which she received this month at the annual international conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Interventions held in Nice, France, recognises the substantial scientific contributions she and her group have made to biomedical image analysis research and its application in cardiovascular medicine and oncology, and her service to the MICCAI community.
