Events

The Department runs a number of events and seminars throughout the year. These are attended by academics, students, representatives from industry, government and media.

Careers in Industry events for students

The Department hosts regular lunchtime events for students to learn about careers in industry and get help with job application skills. These have proved hugely successful over the last eight years and provide companies with an opportunity to reach undergraduates and postgraduates from Engineering Science and other relevant Oxford University departments e.g. Materials, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Companies can use this platform to advise Oxford students of recruitment opportunities or communicate information about their business, products and services.
